Last Friday we were back at the pediatrician's with DJ because of HUGE lymph nodes. As you can see from the picture they were larger than normal. I took this picture on Wednesday and both sides grew larger before they shrunk.
He was positive for strep, and thankfully after 5 doses of zythromyacin his lymph nodes have gone down considerably. Funny through the whole time he barely had any complaints of pain and no fever. If his lymph nodes hadn't ballooned the way they did I'm not sure we would have known his tonsils were so big and he had strep.
We're hoping this is the end of his trips to the MD for this cold season and antibiotics.
