Happy Halloween

We had a great Halloween! It's become a yearly trip out to Channahon to trick-or-treat with my girlfriend Gail and her kids, Noah, Alexandra, and nephew Parker. We have a great time and the kids like going to visit Alexandra and Noah. The weather was good windy but clear and sunshine (thanks to a later Daylight savings!) Thanks for having us Gail!!



This year we added a trip to a pumpkin patch and carving out DJ's pumkin for Halloween. He was ready to help out and cleaned out the pumpkin, but after getting some gunk on his hands a few times, he was done.

Unfortunately Devin couldn't go with us as school started for him, but hopefully he'll make it next year.



Here are some pictures of Halloween, DJ and Noah were both spiderman this year, as you can see, Noah has fully grasped the role of spiderman and DJ - well still working on it. (was this the kind of picture you were looking for Gail?) My attempts to get all 3 children together failed, so here a few seperate photos.




On of the funniest moments was watching the difference between Noah and DJ. In Gail's neighborhood there are some houses that put out quite a scary scene for those faint of heart with uglyy maniquenns, scary music and such. Noah is deathly afraid of these types of situations - he was often too afraid to approach even with the promise of candy. Then there was DJ who seemed oblivious to the special effects. He would inspect the scenes, taking it all in but paying special attention to the "scenes" with the cars that had maniquenns inside. He ignored the effects and focused on the car even reporting once "Hey it's a Ford Mustang!" (one of his favorites!).
